How Many Reports To Get Banned On Ps4

I've only recently read the policys of playstation network and I didn't realist they were so strict!

I'm worried now because, admittedly, I've said the f-word a fair few times while playing CoD 4 without realising how badly Sony takes it.

Basically I want to know how long it would take between the time when a person does something rude to when they're officially banned. Coz I can still go online....just dunno how long I've got.

Even if you think I won't be banned, I'd like to know anyway.

well, far as i know, the online service isn't moderated, only Home is. Even if this isn't the case, you won't be banned for swearing. No matter what it says in teh usage policy.

Finally, it could be anytime from immediate to a month before someone got banned from PSN, but it's not going to happen so I wouldn't worry.

My boyfriend has an xbox and people swear all the time. Is the PS network really much different?! :lolwut:

i think SONY would take things within context. Swearing in a 15 game like Call of Duty is really to be expected. Racist comments are obviously going to provoke offence and would have to be strictly dealt with. I very much doubt they are going to be listening to everything you say anyway! That would be very expensive.

Saying the F word in online games doesn't get you banned. I have heard it too many times. It's like... a fullstop in online gaming!

I highly doubt sony would ban you for swearing, they would lose money in some way on their part unless it is part of some sort of abuse like racism, etc. It's not like sony has the technology of eagle eye (if anyones seen the film you will know what i'm talking about) I doubt they can ban everyone who swears.

First of all, they only know about it if someone reports you.

Secondly, even if you do get reported there'll be millions of reports so the chances of yours being looked at is pretty minimal.

Thirdly, they're not going to ban you for a bit of swearing, at most they'll give you some kind of warning. Only the most serious or the repeated offenders get banned.

I'd ******* love that job. I'd pay hardly any attention to people swearing and just play the game.

won't happen, i've been reported and not banned for worse...

yeah theres nothing to worry about i've been on psn for a couple years now, and theres loads of stuff that gets said online.
Especially CoD and to be honest noone i know has been kicked even though they may be rude sometimes.
But as previously stated you can get kicked off for swearing on home as it is moderated

Lol, everyone swears on the psn, it's common place. You won't get banned.
